Even if there were an extra hard mode I don't see how the game could balance a simultanious keyboard and mouse scheme. Not only would you be able to move in any direction you please and dodge anything that came your way with no penalty (having to choose between aiming and movement is a fundamental part of gameplay in Wild Guns) but you'd be able to easily shoot any enemy bullet out of the air on a whim.The only thing I could imagine working is a mouse only mode where the character and aiming reticule slowly move towards your mouse cursor at the same speed they would if you were using a controller. Even then, that would probably have some weird button binding.
