Description

Announced during the 2010 Gamescom, this episode is the first Ratchet & Clank to offer a 4-player co-op adventure. Playable offline or online, it allows to take control of Ratchet, Clank, Qwark or Nefarious. Each character has its own specificities and have gone through a visual makeover to facilitate co-op as all characters are displayed simultaneously on the screen. This new look is based on Dave Guertin's work that also served as a basis for the covers of the R&C comics. As for the gameplay, both cooperative and competitive aspects are being put forward with new gadgets that have to be used collectively on one hand and bolts and items that can only be collected by one of the players on the other hand.

Synopsis

We find our heroes in the midst of a dilemma of intergalactic proportions when Dr. Nefarious’ latest evil plan goes awry leaving Ratchet, Clank, Qwark and Nefarious himself caught in the snare of a powerful and mysterious machine. Begrudgingly, the galaxy’s biggest do-gooders and its most sinister criminal must work together to discover a means of escape in this action-packed installment of the Ratchet & Clank series.
