Tanglewood Festival Of Lights
Happy New Year!Running of Lights is a race like no other. It started as an avenue to provide family with a way to ring in the New Year in a healthy way with friends and family. The course winds through the Tanglewood Festival of Lights at the stroke of midnight.
Tanglewood Park’s rolling countryside will be transformed into a winter wonderland of giant, twinkling snowflakes and whimsical scenes! Tanglewood’s Festival of Lights continues to be one of the largest and most spectacular light shows in the entire southeast.
Participants can stroll through the Christmas wonderland at whatever pace they choose, and then relish in hot chocolate at the finish line. Start the New Year off on a healthy note! This year the event will benefit the. Disney on ice schedule. The mission of the We Care House is to meet the physical needs of the people in order to position them so their spiritual needs can be met without distraction. The We Care House is an outreach of St. Peter’s that provides food to the community. Participants are asked to bring at least 3 canned food items to donate to the We Care House food bank.The race starts at the stroke of midnight.
We will celebrate the New Year with a Live Feed to New York’s Time Square to count down the New Year and start the race!All participants in the 3.2 mile will receive Long Sleeve T-shirts, Fun Run participants will have the option to buy a shirt during registration. If you register on site and we have run out of shirts, then we will place an additional order and mail a shirt to you. Finisher medals for all participants in both events.
