Swing State is a terribly written film made worse by weak directing, overacting and a soundtrack that made me want to tear the few hairs remaining on my head out. The writer of this film is very clearly not apprised of modern US politics. His simplistic caricatures are insulting the intelligent and well-read audience. My friends who saw this with me agreed that this film is made for a group of unthinking liberals who want their beliefs regurgitated back to them on screen. There is nothing clever or unique about this movie except in its complete worthlessness as a piece of art or a political commentary.
